First, we work with you to determine your needs. After paperwork is complete, we grade the surface, and ensure the ground is flat and supportive. Next we’ll mix and lay an initial base of the concrete type you selected. We’ll screed the concrete, and remove any large irregularities and excess material. Then we’ll apply a stamp design if you’ve selected one. We’ll let the concrete cure, then survey our work to ensure everything exceeds the standards we promised you. Lastly, we’ll seal the concrete driveway to ensure many years of maintenance-free life. That’s it. You’ll have a new driveway for years of future use and enjoyment.

Need to put a concrete sidewalk in? Where do you start? Chances are you've never had to plan out a sidewalk or walkway installation - and if you have, you know that it can be challenging.
Where should the concrete walkway go? Should I use pavers instead? What does the foundation need to look like? Will the concrete crack? There's a lot to consider, and we're here to help make the process easier and less risk-prone.

Patios
Concrete patios are one of our specialties - and they’re also a great way to add value and excitement to your home. Nothing beats a beautiful, clean concrete (or stamped concrete) patio – paired with deck chairs, a barbeque, and an outdoor firepit. Consider concrete patios for your front or backyard – or in unique spaces like outdoor entertaining locations or in the back lots of businesses. Patios bring a lot of flexibility, and we can work with you to build the exact patio you envision.
When installing a patio, there are a few things to consider. First is the design. Successful patios are generally built on flat, even surfaces which can support their weight. Building on uneven or insecure ground could lead to cracking – cutting short the life of your patio – or requiring expensive repairs later. Next, consider the materials. If you hire our company, or another reputable contractor, they will help select the best possible material for the project. Generally, this is a specially selected type of concrete, ideal for your patio project. We can also discuss patio concrete stamping. Interested in subtle designs in the concrete? We can add whatever you like from a wide variety of selections. Further, we can add dye or coloration to the concrete – helping bring to life whatever type of design you may want.
What about the costs? Stamped concrete will end up costing about $8 - $14 per square foot. However these prices can increase with dyes, or other additions. If you add coloration or additional design work, costs could run as high as $20 to $23 per square foot. Interested a few stamps and colors for your project? Plan to spend between $18 to $23 on your project.
Stamped patios compared to pavers. While we like the look of well-laid pavers, we find stamped or simple concrete to be a superior option. Surprisingly, we have seen quotes for pavers that are similar to concrete installations for like-sized areas. Sure, sometimes pavers are cheaper, but this isn’t always the case. The biggest downfall with pavers is that – regardless of how we’ll they’re laid, weeds and plants can still poke through your patio or walkway. It may take a year or two, but chances are they’ll pop up – and you’ll then spend the following years continuing to fight them. Even with a durable, weed-resistant tarp laid down, you still run the risk of weeds infiltrating your paver surface. Aside from weeds, pavers are also harder to clean. Think of having to clean dropped food or dirt from pavers – or worse – stubborn snow with a shovel. Concrete surfaces make all of the easier. They won’t let weeds grow, will make cleanup a breeze, and are competitive cost-wise with pavers. Certainly give these two courses consideration, but don’t be afraid to choose a concrete patio!
Concrete Polishing
Concrete polishing provides a number of interesting options and benefits. Concrete polishing is the process of prepping, and using high-powered polishing tools to completely polish the surface of concrete. The final product is a completely smooth, high-gloss floor on which you’ll need no wax to keep completely clean. Of course, regular mopping and cleaning are required, but polished concrete floors are far easier to keep clean.
They also look great. Rather than paying additional money for tile, or even going with a stamped concrete option – give a polished concrete floor a try. You’ve probably seen the finished product before. Many retail stores employ polished concrete floors because they look great, are easy to clean, and can take a lot of wear and tear. They also don’t require frequent repair, removing one more headache from your day to day work.
Build a home gym? A polished concrete floor could be an outstanding addition – and with portable matting may help you save a lot of money. Money that can be spent on additional exercise equipment!
Polished concrete is also a great option for spas, salons, barber shops, and more. Are you a commercial client, or considering work at scale? We’d be happy to give you a quote and discuss your project with you. Working to become Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) compliant? Did you know things like polished concrete floors and other concrete elements can help you get there? Call today.

Even minor stains in a concrete driveway or walkway could add an interesting and unique variation to your property, and could make a traditional grey concrete feature far more exciting and appealing!

The process is easy, doesn’t cost that much more, and The benefits of colored concrete are endless. This modification allows us to create beautiful patios and pool decks, or compliment existing structures. Are you looking for a specific color theme as you build out a project? Give us a call today to discuss your concrete project needs and ideas, and whether adding some color to your project could be a cool idea. We look forward to learning about what you have in mind!
Slabjacking
Slabjacking is the process used to fix sunken concrete, which has begun to settle into poorly compacted dirt or material underneath the concrete. The process is actually incredibly simple. After a quick assessment, we will inject either a foam or concrete mix underneath the piece of concrete that is sinking. This filler enters the void under the concrete, and begins to either expand or occupy empty space. As the material enters and masses, it begins to lift up the concrete slab or section above it. The process continues until the concrete rests where it should, and is no longer slanted or sunken. We let the concrete or filler dry, ensure the work is structurally sound, and that’s it. We’re done. Slabjacking is an ideal solution for concrete that is intact and undamaged, but that has sunken below it’s initial install point. The service is quick, effective, and will help restore concrete work. The process can also be employed on driveways and paired with overlays.
